This will change your life.

Before I share 4 life changing lines I’d like to say something first.

 We cannot beat death.

There is no way around it.

There is something that we can do about it though.

We can beat death by living fully.

One of my mentors Nicollo Machiavelli changed my life for the better and I’d like to share his wisdom with you guys.

1.ON LEADERSHIP

And here comes in the question whether it is better to be loved rather than feared, or feared rather than loved.

It might perhaps be answered that we should wish to be both; but since love and fear can hardly exist together, if we must choose between them, it is far safer to be feared than loved.

It is much safer to be feared than loved because …

love is preserved by the link of obligation which, owing to the baseness of men, is broken at every opportunity for their advantage; but fear preserves you by a dread of punishment which never fails.

In my restaurant, I am not the man I am with friends and family.

When I enter that place everyone shuts their mouths.

It is nothing personal to be honest with you.

It is just for the best. For the greater good.

When I was in high school we had this chemistry teacher who was very young so he did not want to be harsh on us.

We lost respect for him.

He wouldn’t tell anyone to do anything.

I can’t allow that to happen  where I get money from.

No, no way.

THIS KEEPS YOUR BANK ACCOUNT LOADED.

2.Never attempt to win by force what can be won by deception.

Nicollo Machiavelli was a shameless liar.

A character of him which I disapprove.

Deception can make you a President or a king.(I have real life examples)

One of my examples is the 37th president of the united States Richard Nixon.

That guy rose to power by deception only.

And when he was busted he said I WASN’T LYING, I JUST SAID SOME THINGS WHICH LATER ON SEEMED TO BE UNTRUE.

There are lots of payoffs to it but it isn’t for me.

What I do know though is that it’s better to deceive that to take something by force.

You’d better deceive a woman to sleep with her than to rape her.

One of my uncles used to deceive women that ‘he’s going to marry them’ just to sleep with them.

And the funniest thing is that it always worked.

Which reminds me to share Nicollo Machiavelli’s quote with you guys.

-Men are so simple of mind, and so much dominated by their immediate needs, that a deceitful man will always find plenty who are ready to be deceived.

3.ON TAKING RISKS.

All courses of action are risky, so prudence is not in avoiding danger (it’s impossible), but calculating risk and acting decisively.

Make mistakes of ambition and not mistakes of sloth. Develop the strength to do bold things, not the strength to suffer.

A prudent man should always follow in the path trodden by great men and imitate those who are most excellent, so that if he does not attain to their greatness, at any rate he will get some tinge of it.

This is the only known way to avoid making silly mistakes and taking stupid risks.

There are five men who I imitate and they have really shaped my life.

Some are Americans presidents and others are authors.

4.ON SELF PRESERVATION.

Of mankind we may say in general that they are fickle, hypocritical and greedy of gain.

Whoever wishes to act virtuously in all ways necessarily comes to grief among so many who are not virtuous.

Being naïve is what causes one to be mistreated and taken advantage of.

But if you see people as they really are no one can take advantage of you.

  1. A person can choose to rise above all that. These ideas are for those who are afraid of losing something material, who want to dominate others. They do not take into account the building of one’s eternal soul and the possibility of changing the world by changing what we have come to accept as human nature.

    1. One thing I find funny with you white people is you are sorted out,,
you grow up to find that everything has been done for you by your parents,,maybe that’s why most of you don’t care about “material possessions” believe me I grew up in poverty and I can assure you without money one is as good as dead.
Can you imagine my only resolution for the next ten years is to be wealthy and more wealthy.. I know about the other side.
      It ain’t pretty

      1. Wealth is a relative thing and I have never felt wealthy until now when I count my blessings. I do not deny that material possessions are necessary. We have to eat. We need shelter. Etc. The problem is when we think that’s all there is, that what we have in surplus will make us happy on the ultimate level. I grew up on tight budgets and worked two jobs to get through school. I also thought I would find a lucrative job for 10 years and then do the back-to-nature thing. While you are working, don’t forget about your spiritual nature, the two are not incompatible. 🙂
